Today I had to drive the youth group kids to the airport at 6:30 a.m. On the way home, I pulled onto the shoulder, turned on the emergency flashers, and picked some wildflowers. Because sometimes - when you're completely exhausted and a little low on hope - picking flowers can be an emergency.

Sometimes, emergencies are in the eye of the beholder.
